Backstory
Bonny Jones, 3 year old Shih Tzu with one eye. We actually rescued him from the streets of Hermosa Beach, CA. He was roaming around a dumpster and was a total mess. He was badly emaciated, dirty, matted and was crying in pain. We took him to our vet to discover he had a horrible infection in his right eye. The vet had no choice but to remove the eye completely. After rehab and lot’s of care he survived the horror that once was. It is exactly 2 years this month since Bonzy Jones came into our lives. He is a lovable pup with tons of energy and because of that, he tends to bump into walls quite often. Recently he was playing and ran right into the door frame, he hit the side of his face where his eye used to be so hard that it caused an internal pocket infection to form. Luckily we caught it just in time and he is was treated with a slew of meds. It’s been one week and he is back to his lovable, playful self.
