“Before halos Sanibel wasn’t too confident. And now she is like her old self. She is active and energetic again! And I love it!!! Muffin’s Halo is a miracle worker!
Before getting Muffin’s Halo she wasn’t active. After receiving her halo she enjoys walking around the house again!
Sanibel has gotten her freedom back! On the first day she wore her halo it stopped her from hitting the wall and the chair. I can already
see her confidence coming back and its amazing! Halo has been such a confident boost for her and I also. I am so thankful for Muffins Halo!!!! You guys are amazing!

Backstory
“Sanibel has been with us since she was a puppy. the breeder said she was a miniature schnauzer but as she grew she turned out to be only three inches shorter than a standard schnauzer. We started doing 4-H five years ago as a way to get me out of my quiet zone. I was the quiet dog owner yet my dog was the loudest dog in all of the training’s for around two years.
Sanibel has always been my best friend even when I didn’t want her to be. She never left….she was always there for her and now its time for me to be there for her.
On December 30.2015 The vet checked her eyes and said she was 100% blind. The vet also took her blood and seen that the blood sugar level was 574. The vet said a normal blood sugar for a dog should be around 75-100. Her diabetes was what caused her to become blind. It was a sudden change, one no one is use to yet. I know that she is blind but i want my best friend to feel independent again. I want her to feel like she can see again.
Her favorite place to walk is the wooded paths in our local metro-parks. She is also a 4-H dog so we go to weekly 4-H training sessions with our dog 4-H club. She still enjoys trying to playing with the cat…she will hear his collar bell and follow him pounce the floor and twist off in to a circle. He will follow after her and tap her with his paw. She is slowly playing with her toys again, she especially loves it when she has someone playing tug of war with her. She is still timid and unsure about walking around. But I cant blame her…if I couldnt see I would be timid also.”
