Backstory
“Hello I would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We
are a Charity called Cavaliers in Need that rescues Cavalier King
Charles Spaniels (among a few other breeds that we have been unable to
leave behind) based in the Northern Ireland and the UK.
We have recently rescued a cocker spaniel who is blind and extremely
nervous. She was surrendered to us because her owner is dying of a brain
tumour and is in the care of one of our lovely volunteer foster carers
homes, receiving all the love and care she needs until we can find her a
forever home. (She is the blonde cocker spaniel on right of picture).
There is also a Cavalier called Bailey who is being surrendered to us on
Saturday because his family are being made homeless. We are worried
about how he is going to cope with the separation from his family and
also the home and environment that he is used to.
Someone recommended that we look at the muffin Halo so I have been
looking at your webpage and seen that you provide Halos to help blind
dogs in shelters. So I thought it was worth messaging to see if you
would consider donating two to help us help Pearl and Bailey adapt to
their new foster homes and eventually their forever homes and make the
whole experience as easy as possible on them.”
