Peaches

Update

“Hey guys, thank you so much for my Halo!!!  After being dumped at the pound I was taken in by a local rescue group and placed with my foster mum. It was hard to adjust to my new surroundings at the ripe old age of 12, but since my Halo arrived I have a new found confidence that has blown everyone away!! I even break out in the occasional run, knowing that my Halo will protect me :) Thank you again, from the bottom of my paws for giving me my second  chance.  – Lots of love from Australia”

Backstory

“Peaches was picked up by a member of the public as she was wandering around an industrial area very close to the highway. Due to her advanced cataracts it was clear to the man who picked her up that she was totally blind. She was taken to the local shelter the next morning and the owner was notified that she had been found however he never came for her.

We jumped at the chance to have this beautiful little lady with us and judging by her overall condition we are so glad that her owner declined to reclaim her. She is such a happy little dog and is loving being in foster care with her fur siblings!

She spends her day laying in front of the window to soak up the sun and her nights cuddling up with her foster mum on the couch. We are so happy we have been given the chance to make sure her last years will be filled with love and our only sadness is that she didn’t come to us years ago.

Being that she has gone from stray, to the pound and now to a new home she still hasn’t adjusted to her new surroundings so is bumping into furniture and walls of the house and has little grazes on her nose constantly from banging into objects, we are hoping that a Muffin’s Halo will be just what the doctor ordered to help this little angel regain her confidence.”
