Backstory
“Tootsie is a 12 1/2 year old Mini-Schnauzer. My parents live in Florida. Mom passed away this Spring on April 24, 2017 and Tootsie was her baby. My Dad is 81 and we feared Tootsie would be a danger to him because she is blind. We were afraid she would trip him. So, we took her in at our home in RI. She has lived her whole life in Fl and pretty much knew her way around. Poor thing bangs into everything at my house. She is not active now with the blindness. She is timid and scared. Not herself at all. When I saw this halo, I thought … this is the solution!! We have a 12 1/2 year old Corgi and his eyesight is perfect. So seeing her this way is heartbreaking.”
