Backstory
Gracie is a mellow 11 year old Boston Terrier. She has been going blind since she was very young. Gracie lived the first 10 years of her life with a family in Iowa. I’m not sure why they had to put her up for adoption but it probably had to do with her blindness. I adopted Gracie less than a year ago and we’ve become great pals. She’s a sweetie pie and she loves going for walks and running on the leash. She loves to play with toys. Gracie is the most playful dog I’ve ever had!
The problem is sometimes she gets too excited and bumps into things and hurts herself. The vet says that her eyes are very fragile. She has had 3 eye injuries in the time that I have had her despite us being very careful. If she keeps injuring her eyes they won’t get better and she will have to have surgery to have them removed or be put to sleep. So this is a last-ditch effort to protect Gracie’s eyes. We especially love the butterfly halo! Thank you for your consideration.

Update
Thank you all so much for helping my dog! The assistance couldn’t have come at a better time. I had a short gap in employment and just started a job. I was transferred too and Gracie has just gotten over an eye infection caused by being poked in the eye accidently. We just got the halo on the mail today I am so excited for her! This is the first picture of Gracie trying on her new halo! She’s still getting used to it but it seems to help.
