“It is with a heavy heart and greatest of sadness that i am informing you of beloved Murphy’s passing over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. I am not even sure how my heart continues to beat without him by my side. He was so valiant and brave as he endured daily insulin injections and blindness. I cannot express my thanks for such selfless donations such as a Muffin’s Halo that you so gracefully gifted us just a couple short months ago. I would like to forward that generosity in Murphy’s name to another fellow fur baby in need of some extra help in navigating the challenges that blindness bring. Please let me know what steps i need to take to see this to fruition. Once again, I cannot thank you enough. With great sadness and even greater shared memories, Dana and Murphy.”

Backstory
My beloved dog son is a Jack Russell named Murphy who is now 15. When he was 13 he went into acute diabetic ketoacidosis. This caused him to go blind within three weeks. He amazes me every day how he has adapted to his sightless surroundings, always with a joy for his human friends, foe and family. At times he often bounces off of furniture and outdoor surroundings like a pin ball. It breaks my heart to watch his struggle but he never lets me know it. I often use clicking of my tongue for sounding but over the last year even his hearing has declined. He diligently fills my days with unending joy just as i wish to do for him. I have been interested in a Muffins Halo for well over a year now but as a single person doing all i can to afford his costly daily insulin injections and never sacrificing his very high quality diet to keep him in the very best possible health,
It seems i just can’t find the extra finances at the end of each month to come up with the extra financial ability to afford him a Muffin’s Halo. I know that such a wonderful item such as this would enable him to have a better quality of life and only bring so much more love and care during this late time in his life. I cannot thank you enough for your consideration. Bless Muffin’s Halo in recognition of fulfilling such a greater need in giving our fur babies a greater quality of life.
