Backstory
“Bandit developed diabetes in April 2015. He was a very sick baby, and it took a few days in the hospital to get well enough to come home. It took 4 or 5 weeks and a couple insulin adjustments to get the diabetes stabilized.
He loved to play in the pool…standing on the pool float, catching foam golf balls! Unfortunately, while on vacation in August of 2015, we went to bed one night, and in the morning Bandit was walking into furniture and walls. As the day progressed his eyes were milky white. We called the vet, but were told that cataracts were common with diabetes. Feel so sorry for him, as you can tell he is afraid, especially somewhere new.
Bandit is able to go up the stairs…one at a time, but won’t come down. We try to go for walks, but he is nervous and it takes a lot of patience! He never runs anymore ?, but does still like to play with his stuffed toys.”
