Brownie received her Halo last week and I finally got some pictures of her. Thank you guys so much. She is so blessed and is now in her forever home with her bonded brother. Thank you from Angels Saving Those In Need Rescue!
Brownie and Rocky (bonded pair) were surrendered together to the Maricopa County Shelter in AZ because of “cost”. With no photos posted online, Gwen went to the shelter to assess them. They were already on the “due out” and “Euth list”. Realizing Brownie‘s disabilities (glaucoma and blind) and that she relied heavily on Rocky for support, Gwen pulled both of them at that moment. They were taken to the groomer and then to the vet, where it was determined that Brownie was completely blind and due to the untreated glaucoma, one of her eyes had already shrunk on its own. She is now on eye drops for her remaining eye.
