Update
Dear “Second Chances for Blind Dogs”,
I just wanted to express my immense gratitude for your donation of a Muffin’s Halo to our beloved Chester. Chester seems to be less confused and quicker with his walking while he is wearing it! He adjusted almost immediately to wearing it, and reacted as we hoped when would bump into something; he immediately stops and maneuvers around the object he bumped into. We call it his “bumper”:0) We are so blessed to have heard about Muffin’s Halo through the rescue group that I foster for. I believe that the Muffin’s Halo is a deal-changer for Chester and his limitations with his blindness. He no longer is limited to small areas. He even went for a hike on a trail while wearing it!! He hasn’t hiked in a year out of our fear of him running into a tree or boulder. Thank you so much for your amazing product and gracious donation. Both Chester and I will be eternally grateful!!

Backstory
Chester is an 11 year old Goldendoodle that we rescued when he was a puppy 10.75 years ago. Five out of Chester’s 11 years were spent as a blood donor for Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He retired at 10 years old, right about when some terrible cataracts/glaucoma began. Chester has saved 53 dog lives!! Chester has also been a therapy dog for the Maxfund pet therapy program, visiting seniors in nursing homes and hospices. He has touched so many lives in his time and we would like to give a little comfort now that his vision has gone.
