Update
“Dolly took to her Muffins Halo like she had always wore it. On the way to the park she was almost galloping. She didn’t stumble once. She seemed even happy. I don’t know if this makes sense. Sunday I took her to the vet. I held the Halo in front of me, she went and stood under it and waited for me to put it on. I’m so glad she has the colored one. I tried to send a video, it was too big to send. Thank you all so very much for giving my Dolly another chance at some good life. When she was working with Hospice I thought we had both found something special to do with our lives. Sometimes life can throw some curve balls. Thank you again for this wonderful gift!”

Backstory
“This is my Angel Dolly. Dolly is 9(?). I rescued her from a puppy mill. She was at least 1 when she chose me.
Dolly and our Baby (our kitty who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, a few weeks ago) and myself have traveled to CO, CA, CO and finally planted roots in MN.
My Dolly has been a Hospice Service girl in CA and CO. She is so gentle and loving. She has walked with many to there journey across the bridge. I now have a disability which has left me with no job. I did receive a small settlement which has helped with her vet bills. Dolly now has a full blown cataract in one eye and well on her way in the other. She not only is going blind, but also is closer to being deaf. Due to chronic ear infections. She has a wonderful vet. She has helped us so much with our grieving process.
I find when I call out to Dolly and she doesn’t respond because she can’t hear me and I try to get her attention by waving, she just isn’t seeing me either. I cry so much, I can’t lose her either. I don’t know what to do to help her in this transition. Is she happy? I can’t cry around her anymore. She so much deserves better than this. She’s given so much joy to those around her. It’s her turn. Please can you help me? I need to be strong for my lil girl. I just don’t know how. Thank you, Julie and Dolly
