Backstory
“Dorothy was found as a stray in Providence, RI. She was held for the 5 day stray hold, no one came to claim her.
One of our board members, Trisha volunteers at the Providence Animal Shelter each week and when she met Dorothy, she fell in love and knew we needed to help her. Trisha took her to an eye specialist who confirmed she was indeed blind in both eyes and diagnosed her with having Hyphema & Phthisis Bulbi in her left eye and Glaucoma & Cataracts in her right eye which is causing her pain.
The doctor recommended having both of her eyes removed to rid her of the pain. We are hoping to have the surgery scheduled this coming week. We were hoping to get a Muffins Halo to help Dorothy along as she is bumping into things. ”
