Update

Eli got his Muffin’s Halo! Doesn’t he look adorable?

Our angel Dee Dee who recently lost Buster filled out an application to adopt Eli, in honor of her Angel. They are meeting this weekend. Praying all goes well and they end up together♡♡

Backstory

“On April 22, a good Samaritan witnessed a man yanking a smaller dog through the far end of the park, where he was at with his own dog. The man tied the dog to the leg of one of the park benches and looked around and took off.

After closer inspection, this poor little old dog, with his hair all matted and dirty, was soaking wet like someone sprayed him with a hose just before they left him, was shivering and cold. He was tied around the neck with a much larger dogs leash and was pacing back and forth coughing uncontrollably. With dusk approaching we realized this boy was also blind and a sitting duck for the coyote infested area, an easy target with no chance to survive!

They reached out to a friend, Tracy Friedman from (GreenDog Foundation a Nonprofit Dog Rescue). This boy is a senior aged Puggle, blind as a bat, all of his teeth are rotten to the core and will need extensive dental work, plus he has tracheal bronchitis, is not neutered, and needs a senior panel to tell the real health, plus all vaccinations!

“Eli” has a warm and loving heart that deserves a warm and loving home to match. He is housebroken, good around other dogs, very peaceful and loving, and loves to go on car rides. PLEASE help get Eli healthy again and into a home.

GreenDog Foundation is stepping up to bring “Eli” safely under their rescue umbrella, however this nonprofit rescue like so many, are terrible low on medical funds.
