“Cant believe I am even making this announcement I don’t want to realize this is true. As I still lay with her till I gotta take her to get cremated I am begging her to come back. As of 7 am this morning my beautiful everything took her last breath in my arms. I knew this day will come eventually but I always selfishly ask not today not any day. I have so much love in my heart for this little one since day one I rescued her. I hurt so bad inside now, I just need her back please. I keep saying that aloud like someone something is gonna respond back. I don’t know what to do now Gertie was my life my world revolved around her.”

Backstory
“Gertrude aka Gertie rescued from a hoarder at home with 17 other poodles that were matted, flea infested covered in urine and stool. Some had wounds and a poodle did chew off her tail. Many of them did have obvious eye problems, rotten teeth that were later removed and malnourished.”
