Update
I am saddened to report that Miss Hunny grew her beautiful golden Angel wings yesterday.

This blind senior girl was rescued from the Bonita shelter in San Diego just about a year ago and was given a tremendous amount of love and care by her great foster mom Jewls.
Hunny’s health has been declining due to her age and yesterday she was unable to stand or walk and had lost bowel control.
Her Mama scooped her up in her arms and Hunny took her last breath being kissed and sent off with the words “I love you” whispered in her ear.
Rest in peace Hunny, and soar high with those beautiful new Angel wings, thank you for sharing your journey with us

Update
“Today is Honey’s big day…She is not coughing as much and has her appetite back! And the best part is she has her pink Muffin’s Halo! Now she can go visit the turkeys and navigate the whole yard. She loves to visit all the chickens also. Honey is doing wonderful with her Muffin’s Halo!
Thank you Angels,”

She is going to the Vet today and we will keep you posted as things unfold. She has an exciting future ahead full of LOVE as she deserves♡’

Backstory
“A very concerned girl named Juli wrote me to tell me she is very concerned about this blind poodle who she calls Honey. She is at Bonita Shelter in San Diego and no one has stepped up for her and no rescues showed interest. Juli goes to visit Honey to provide some comfort to this little darling. Juli does not have much money but is scared this baby will get kennel cough in the shelter and was told she would be put down. I asked Juli to please take Honey home and that we would send over a Muffin’s Halo for her and help network on my page to help her find a forever home.”
