Update
“Jo Jo’s Halo has arrived. There is a very bittersweet story as to how she received this Halo. There was a very kind woman named Stephanie Ellis Bilpuch who had ordered a Halo for her beloved dog Mya. Mya had a seizure and never recovered so Jo Jo’s new found mobility is in honor of Mya. Mya’s spirit sits on the wings of this Halo and she will forever travel with Jo Jo. They have become sisters in spirit and Jo Jo will not let Mya’s memory die. Thank you so much Stephanie Ellis Bilpuch, Muffins Halo for the Blind Dogs, Second Chances for Blind Dogs and especially to Mya.”

Backstory
“I had gone to the Muffin’s Halo For Blind Dogs website after it was suggested to me and on there, there was a place to apply to receive a free Halo from an organization called Second Chances for Blind Dogs, who provide Halo’s purely through donations received by caring people. I only applied yesterday and tonight, I received notification that Jo Jo (Flo Jo) will be receiving one from a kind donor! For FREE! This will be such a blessing to her since she is constantly running into things. This will help her manipulate her way through the house with fewer accidents. Can’t wait for it to arrive and to share with everyone how she does with it and the progress she makes! By the way, Jo Jo (Flo Jo) is a Last Hope Animal Rescue dog but will not go up for adoption until her surgery is completed in March and she has had time to heal from it. They will be removing both of her non functioning eyes to keep them free of infections.”
