Update
Today my Sammy got a gift, one we are very thankful for. About 6 months ago I started to notice Sammy running into things. It wasn’t till the last 3 months that it is was obvious he could no longer see. It is very nerve racking worrying about your dog being in the yard while your at work. So many things he could run into and ways he could get injured. It is really very heartbreaking to watch. About a month ago there was this offer to give away “Halo’s” to dogs just like my Sam. So, I took a chance. When Sammy was selected I literally cried. My boy Sam was going to get the help he needs to navigate through his day. What a God send. So from Sammy and myself, we would like to thank Muffin’s Halo for your wonderful gift. Life for Sam is about to get a lot easier…he is looking fly!~ Jenifer & Sammy
Backstory
Sammy is a 10 year old Lab/Pit Mix. He seemed to go blind very quickly. He is such a sweet boy. He constantly runs into things and I fear he will seriously hurt his head. He is mobile and active. He is always up and ready to go for a treat or a outing. It gets dark early now so I haven’t tried walking him. I don’t want anything to happen to either of us so I can’t risk taking him when I get off work and it’s dark. I heard about your organization on Facebook. Please help.
