Trooper

Backstory

“Trooper was surrendered to us in 2011 because he was partial blind and also heartworm positive. We found a great home for him later that year, however he has now come back to our rescue as 1 of his owner has now committed suicide & the remaining spouse can not take care of him.

Trooper is now completely blind having his other eye removed due to glaucoma issues, which also claimed his other eye. He is a great boy who with remain with us in long term foster care until a new home maybe be found, but unfortunately being 10 & blind he will be overlooked by many for a while I’m sure. He is doing well since coming back to us, however is having difficult navigating in the foster’s home so it was suggested we look into a Muffin’s Halo to help. So that is what we are looking to so to help Trooper continue to be a happy and normal Brit!

Trooper is still very active even at age 10, he loves to play outside in the fenced yard & has already gotten stuck a few times trying to navigate certain areas.”
