ZOEY is loving her Muffin’s Halo ♡
” It really helps her, and her confidence when she goes outside! No more injuries from running into things…she was always bumping the side of her face! Hope Muffin is doing well, he & Chloe are the cutest! ” ((Hugs))

Backstory
“Just thinking about my 10 year old service angel (don’t like calling her a “service dog”…to me she IS an Angel, not a dog)
I was diagnosed w/MS in 1995. In 2005 a month after my Mom passed away (lived next-door) a friend who is a dog trainer told me a puppy mill was being shut down in MI, about 200 miles away. Over 800 dogs/pups were in need of a home! I stated a friend of mine had a Goldendoodle and I loved him.
Well, low & behold one 4 month old female was in need of rescue…runt & last of the litter & her mother was shot in front of her because she could not have anymore pups…Zoey was gonna be the next to have litter, after litter! All this came out in court…he got a fine & not allowed to have any more dogs!!
Fast forward…took her to puppy kindergarten, med. & advanced training (along w/CGC) trainer said Zoey should be my service dog…the rest is a beautiful history!
She has been by my side 24/7…helping me & knowing me more than i know myself! She is my lifeline…when i started having seizures, she began to alert me before hand & make me lay on nearest couch our bed & stay w/me as always. Mind you, she was not trained for this! As her trainer always said, she is intuitive, smart, loving…
Meant to be my helper!
Now, we are helping each other…2.5 years ago she had an acute bout of pancreatitis. The vet wanted to admit her, i know my girl. ..she would not have made it w/o me! I was in the medical profession before i had to stop working, so…i took care of her at home on my/our bed! Just as she has done w/me more times than i can count! She didn’t eat for 12 days & had to sub q fluids…we did not leave each other’s side! The vet was amazed at her recovery! Well, pancreatitis caused diabetes & cataracts. I have her diabetes under control, but 2 more bouts of pancreatitis have taken a toll on her amazing, beautiful eyes.
We are now in a place that we help each other…she just had an injury to the side of her face & another to her left eye due to running into things. She is so proud & loving, when thru pancreatitis (extremely painful) & vision loss, she has never whined, i know she doesn’t because she does not want to upset me. She has been my Angel beyond words…selfless, loving, caring & the best (service) Angel i could ever ask for! I pray she is with me forever.
I am sorry this is such a long story, but to put this into words was emotionally hard. I want everyone to know what an amazing gift she is to me. Halo or not. ..she already has an halo from God!
Thank you,
Paula & Zoey. ♡
